Heard of Tous before? You might have spotted them at Raffles City Shopping Centre. What is Tous? I did a little research about this brand. Holy! When I typed in Tous in google, the first thing I saw was Tous, Jewelers since 1920! Tous, is a Spanish designer Jewelry. They have since expanded to more than 400 stores in 45 countries, which includes Singapore, Paris, Milan, Tokyo, New York and etc. They started off with a humble background where Salvador Tous Blavi and his wife, Teresa Ponsa Mas opened a small watch repair workshop back in 1920. In 1965, Salvador Tous, the son of the founder married married Rossa Oriol and they pooled together their talents, experience and creativity, in order to design a whole new range of jewelry. Jewelry is the brand's core business, and they have added in their range which includes a broad range of accessories, bags, watches, perfumes, eyeglasses, textiles, and small leather goods. I was very happy to receive this cute wallet, courtesy of Tous, Bazaar, and my sis! It's worth $209!

Why a teddy bear?
During one of Rosa Oriol's trip in 1985 (I was 1 year old!), she drew inspiration from a teddy bear, which she saw in one of the shop's window. It brought back all her endearing childhood memories. And she thought "Why not make a bear out of gold?" Over the years, it has become a lucky charm for millions of people all over the world and for Tous, it marked the beginning of an international expansion. Even though they have been launching new collections, the bear is always present in different shapes and forms.
Coming across Tous makes me wanna work even harder to build Montrose Desires.
I have to admit, competition in Singapore is really stiff, but nothing is impossible. :)
