Finalist for Miss Singapore World

Hello lovelies!!! Time is spinning so fast that we are nearing the end of September! Omg. As much as I wish Singapore have got 4 seasons, quite unfortunately we only have the sun, humidity and the rain. And maybe ice. Haha!

It's always a like a dream come true each and every time I get to travel to places that are colder and excitingly see snow too, which I did saw 3 years ago on a trip to Korea. It wasn't falling snow but yeah, the ground was plastered in snow white, which was a nice experience.

So now, it's FALL in many countries and hey, if you're travelling to places that are experiencing the Fall season now, below would be some Fall inspiration. Before I start though, I wanted to say that I had a great time meeting Bethany Mota, aka MacBarbie07. If don't know who she is, go google! I always tell people Goggle is my best friend! I can find almost anything I want on Goggle, it's the best search engine ever. But those of you who have decided that na, I'm lazy to google, never mind. Here's a short introduction of MacBarbie07.

She's a teenage girl from California, who's only 18 this year! She's a youtuber by the way and has more than 3.2 million subscribers on her channel. I'm only much active on Instagram, so from what I see, she's got 1.6 million followers. Highly popular.

She's such a bubbly girl in her videos, it's really hard not to like her. If I were around her age, I'll probably like her even more, but I can totally relate how alot of girls from everywhere around the world loves her so. *Trying to act young only me* Lol.. No really. She has a very like-able persona and it was really awesome to have met her in person.

Maybe to introduce her a little more, you might wanna watch one of her many videos on youtube. I've decided to embed the one on Fall since I'm talking about Fall, you can pick up tips on what to wear for Fall! This will only take 8.46 minutes of your time!



Her clothes are probably what I would wear too. Only thing is that in Singapore, I don't tend to wear alot of long sleeve clothings because it's just too hot for me, although nowadays the air con too makes me really cold. Time to stock up on jackets and cardigans!!

Met Bethany at Marina Bay Sands 2 days ago. She's really nice and such a sweet girl!

She really have got quite a following and it's like the girls knew where she'll be coz 2 days ago wasn't the official Meet & Greet for her in Sg. I had my way in finding out, so I guess that's how the girls did too. Lol...


Alot of sec school students. I felt old with all these kids. Hahhaahaha... But young at heart la!


This is a dress that I will totally wear for Fall. Fall's colors are usually on the darker hues like navy blue, grey, black, red wine etc. Just need to pair it with stockings and short ankle boots plus a jacket and you're good for Fall!

Masculine is in for this Fall. I'm not into this type of fashion but I'm sure some girls do. It's quite cool actually, and hey, check out the navy blue.

Thigh high boots. I would love to wear them but going through airport customs is a chore! Unless I bring a huge suitcase maybe, it will be in my suitcase. Ha!


White/ ivory. You'll never go wrong with it.


I'm in the midst of planning for my Milan trip. It was already decided that it will be in October but bf and I are having some changes due to certain circumstances. Let's hope we finish the tedious planning fast!

Greetings from me!!

Kinda stuck as to what to write as my first post, because it's definitely not my first blog post at all. It simply means my first blog post on a brand new blog. I started blogging when I was 19. And I'm 28. So that makes it 9 long years. I've changed several times in terms of my url coz, when there is some major life-changing event, it's all about the memories in that blog isn't it? Thus, with an end to a once beautiful beginning, I thought it's wise to change and bury the beautiful memories I had, to begin new.

Anyway, over time, I started work, and life got really busy. Trust me, when you're running for your career and all, you find it really hard to spend time on a computer when you've fixed your eyes on your com all day long while at work. I simply feel tired at the end of the day and when you're home, you just wanna rest and spend time with your loved ones instead of spending more time with a computer.

Life changed after that, and now, I do get some or should I say, quite abit of flexible time of my own, and I can safely say I can come back to blog about stuffs.

My stuffs, it means anything from fashion, events, lifestyle, holidays etc. Almost anything under the sun!

And I swear, I don't wanna change my url anymore. Somehow, a crazy idea came about, and yeah, mylifeispurrfect came out of it. It was a 5 second thought and here I am, typing my first entry. I've been using xanga and the reason I kinda stop writing there is because xanga kept giving me lots of problems when I post. So, I'm now a convert. Hello blogspot!

Why did I name my blog as mylifeispurrfect? In all truth, I'm pretty sure there are days we feel ultra lousy. I was feeling like this just yesterday. Well, the thing is, nothing is really bad and nothing is impossible. We train our minds to turn things around and in actual fact, our mind powers our actions.

I choose to stay positive. Life may not be perfect for most of us, but we can either make do with it, or we can make it perfect. Just the way we like it. :)

So there, my first post. Lol...

Just a super brief story on the beginning of this blog, here's some things to capture your attention now!

I don't wanna be a faceless person in the blogosphere, so you're definitely gonna see alot of my photos. You can tell me what you want me to blog about too, and I will try my best to accede to what you want. Of course, nothing nasty please. And don't ask me to blog about Amy Cheong. Lol... she's like the hottest subject for the past 2 days. The only thing I will say is, I think someone of her calibre and position should have known better than to comment things like this. I seriously wonder if she did think through properly before she typed in her status? Oh well...

Brief event on last Friday at Marina Bay Sands (MBS), it was their VIP Fashion Night. Had some fun walking around MBS and ended the evening watching Wonder Full, the water and light show.

A trick to look shapelier in photos. Never stand straight like a puppet. Angle 1 of your leg and the photo will instantaneously look better.


Always love their photo booths. I had a similar photo taken at the same event last year. No prizes as to guess who's the guy in the photo. :P

The bubbles, together with the lighting, makes it looks like Singapore's snowing!

While at MBS, I had wanted to get a Ted Baker iphone pouch at Robinsons as I was given a 25% off discount exclusively to OCBC Robinsons card spenders. Apparently I think I spent quite abit using their card, lol... I was given the privilege because my sis and bf both are OCBC card holders but they didn't get the 25% off thing. But, it seems like alot of things can't be used on. I was checking with the staff from Ted Baker whether the discount applies to Ted Baker or not, but she didn't really seem to know so she just told me it can't be used, although Ted Baker wasn't in the list of exclusions. Perhaps I will try again, this time instead of asking, I shall go straight to the cashier.

Other than  that item, I didn't see any other things I really like, so yup, I went home empty handed.

Another event I went to earlier part of the year was to Raoul Audi Fashion Festival. One thing I like going for events is that there're plenty of eye candies to look at as everyone is so dressed up!

I found this photo on Plush just 2 days ago. And the event was in May I think. Haha...
